Keeping The Peace

How much do you value your friendships or relationships with your children, co-workers, parents or friends? While you ponder the answer to this question please keep this in mine, most of the time in order to keep these people close to you, in your life or to keep your job, one must first bite their tongue. They must also keep quite or stay silent while others are talking, yelling or fussing and agree to disagree in order to keep down confusion or to keep the peace. Doing so doesn't make a man or woman appear or seem weak, instead it shows maturity, strength and character. This is the true mark of a God fearing person, avoiding all conflict , staying humble and meek in the mist of crisis for the greater good. For the word says, James 2:5 Listen, my dear brothers and sisters: Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love him? In other words don't argue, fuss, fight or get involved with anything that isn't of God, instead be the bigger person walk away in peace. Even when right, its always best to walk away in peace, for the glory of God!
Have a great Sunday,
Charles
Isaiah 11:4
but with righteousness he will judge the needy, with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked.
Isaiah 14:30
The poorest of the poor will find pasture, and the needy will lie down in safety. But your root I will destroy by famine; it will slay your survivors.
