Finding your soul mate or finding someone who has the same goals, same common interest or same beliefs is just like finding a needle in the hay stack. Also finding everything you may want in a spouse is also a very hard thing and what keeps most of our relationships from lasting a life time is our high expectation's. Most of us expect to much out of our future and current spouses. Some expect perfection, when in fact they are imperfect themselves. That is why everyone should seek God before seeking a mate or spouse. That way he can both guide your heart and eyes to your potential spouse or mate. This statement leads me to an old saying which says, "Be careful for what your eyes may see, because it may lead you to the path or destruction ". What this means is if you see something that looks good or appealing to the eye it does not necessarily mean it is good. It could in fact be fools gold, false or they could be something that the devil knows is bad for you. Also the eyes can misdirect you too and fool you.Your eyes could sway you away from a potential mate or spouse, mainly because in your eyes the person may not appear appealing or not look good in your sight. My mother used to always say," Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder". What this statement means, just because it does not look good to you, does not mean it will not look good to others. For every man God created a rib or perfect help mate. So men and women please take this journal to heart, because you are the perfect spouse, helpmate or rib for someone out there.You just have been misdirected from getting that mate. But if you are one that is already blessed with a spouse, helpmate or rib, know this the devil will be on the attack. For Satan has been destroying both marriages and relationships for thousands of years. Its his sole purpose to destroy what is good or blessed. So take my advice, when you see a man or woman who could be your future spouse or mate, go after it with all your heart and never let go, for they are a blessing from God. He has opened your eyes for you to see what could possibly be yours forever.And for those who already have that perfect mate never let go of your good thing. For it is written, when a man finds a wife he finds a good thing. Keep your good thing , get passionate about your life , your relationship and never let go. Remember this in a relationship it takes two and love is two way street. One without the other and the relationship doesn't work. Never let go of your blessing and always trust God to direct your pathways straight.
