After he told me this I asked my father a question that made him laugh. I asked him did he or my mother ever make mistakes? He laughed so hard that I thought he was going to have a heart attack(Just kidding. smile). Then he smiled and said , "Son more than you know". He went on to say, that all men or women make mistakes and none are perfect. But there is a time in every man or woman's life when there will be a need to replace something that's old, with something that's new. The only thing that can not ever be replaced is God. What my father meant by these last few statements, is that all men or women have to learn when to let go of things of the past and move on. Many of us still hold grudges and refuse to let go of the anger or hate we feel for someone who has wronged us. Some may want to retaliate or get back at the ones who have hurt them. So they store up their hate, then pile them on top of their burdens, troubles or pain. They keep these feelings deep inside, without realizing that those very same feelings or thoughts, are the ones that keep them from being blessed or happy . That is why it is so important to forgive, then let God handle your burdens or pains. Replace those old feeling with something new, like the joy of Jesus! Then try living again and being happy! Let Gods light shine brightly in you. If you happen to be reading this, take time to think about you own life and ask yourself these questions. What would happen if I release all of my troubles, heartaches and pain? What kind of life would I have if it were stress free? What would my life be like if I let go of the things in my past and moved forward? I have an easy answer for those questions, if you trusted God more and put your burdens in his hands, then you would be free. You would be able to smile like a true christen, that has been blessed. All of your dream, desires would come to a real reality. Because when you release your burdens and trust God., your praises would go up and your blessings will come down. Then my friend or friends, you would have gotten rid of something old then replaced it with something new. Something Old And Something New!
May God bless you always,
Charles
Daniel 2:23 I thank you, and praise you, O you God of my fathers, who have given me wisdom and might, and have made known to me now what we desired of you: for you have now made known to us the king's matter
Psalm 55:22 Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall.
Many people's problem is they don't know when to let go. They just stay in a situation and they are only making it worse for themselves. Many do not put God first. Try Him and you will be a better person.
