Don't Let Your Heart Condemn Your Soul

If you happen to be reading this, (Yes You) I have a question for you. What does your family, friends or spouse really mean too you? I used to believe that blood was thicker than water or that family really meant something or mattered. But what I have found  in this cruel, judgmental or mean world, it seems that a lot of people are forgetting about what's really important and that's our family, friends or our spouses. It's really sad that there is so much infighting within our own government, churches, families, friendships, marriages and relationships. All of us should expect a good fight when we leave our home, go to our job and yes one can expect evil to show up even at our family house. But no one should have or expect to wage war at home a place they call their castle. It makes one wonder when is this evil ever going to end and why won't most of us realize as husband, wives, family members or fiends that we are all we got? I heard a very sad true story today, that really touched my heart. Its about a thirty- one year old lady, who's in the hospital with pneumonia .What sad about this story is that the young lady's organs are failing, she could die and there are no family members or friends there by her side. It makes one wonder why? Why aren't they there and why don't they seem too care? She is someones daughter, girl friend, sister or friend. It doesn't or shouldn't matter what she has done in her past, present or what she has become, she is some body's family member, someones friend, church member, co-worker or on some body's friends list on a social network and deserves better. Has the world become so cruel or heartless that we stop caring about our fellow man or woman needs?

This brings me to another story, (well its not a story sadly enough) because it has become normal or a fact of life. Our young men are fighting, shooting, robbing and then killing each other everyday. None of them(our children) sadly to say seems to respect their parents, teachers , law enforcement or even Pastors or Preachers at local churches. I wonder when are we as brothers, men, fathers, mothers, Pastors, Priest or our so called leaders are going to have the courage or faith to walk up to our young men to tell them too stop the killing. Also tell them that we love them and we aren't going to any more funerals, because they have to much to live for. Tell our young men that we want them to live and to get off of the road of destruction. Tell them to fill their hearts with love, instead of hate and embrace the wonderful gift of life. This is a special message to anyone who is blessed enough to read this, "Your children, family, friends, mother, father, grandparents and even your spouse are blessings from God". Yes! Love them while they are living and don't wait until they are gone to tell them how much you care! Stop being or don't become one of those people, who can't wait until their loves ones are gone, just so that they can collect that persons life insurance policy, money, house, car or material things! I know there may be some who don't even care or even give a second thought about these two real life stories. Before I close let me ask you are we our brothers or sisters keepers? Also before you endorse or like anything online or in public make sure you aren't doing it at a price that may cost you your integrity or soul.  To those people who may feel or think that I am being a little harsh, "Don't Let Your Heart Condemn Your Soul". Because what you do here on Earth will and shall be judged in Heaven by our Father God.
Have a blessed day,
Charles

The Perfect Man or Woman?(Question Of The Week)

Since I gave my life to Christ and started to write spiritual writings, you would be amazed by the comments or messages I get through out the week. Most of them are very positive and many have written me, then thanked me for blessing them with Gods awesome words. But as you know, you can't please everybody and there will always be one or two that would say something negative or even question why I wrote the things in my journal. I could do the worldly thing, get upset and fight back with some angry words of my own, but instead I chose the righteous path, the path of God. A path laid out by God to always remain positive in an imperfect world and to always take a negative, then turn it into a positive.

This brings me to the question of the week and I owe this one to my Anonymous friend. You know who you are and this one is for you. The question is, Are there perfect men or women in the world today? And if so if one would happen to be blessed with one, would the marriage or relationship work? For the answer to this question I will go back to my childhood and remember a conversation I had once had with my mother. I remember my mother explaining to me that if a woman happen to meet a perfect man, then get into a relationship with him, that it wouldn't last. Now don't ask me why my mother and I got in this conversation, because I don't know. My mother, father, grandmother and many others have had many interesting conversations. Some related to me and others didn't. But for some reason my mind is like a sponge and it remembers almost everything. That's why I can't stop writing, God triggers me to write, when a strange subject comes up, I just write  and can't stop. (Smile)

Now back to my mothers and I conversation; I asked my mother why didn't she think a relationship would work with a perfect man or woman. She smile , then said," Its simple Chuck, men or women are flawed, sinners and make many mistakes". A perfect man or woman wouldn't be happy with an imperfect spouse. Why? Because they couldn't live up, to the perfect persons expectations. Men or women are born in sin and will always make mistakes, so imagine being in a relationship with someone that's perfect. After remembering that conversation with my mother it made me think about my Anonymous friend. Yes men or women would love to have a perfect man or woman, but why be involved with someone if you are not that way yourself? Allot of us want pre-programmed men or women, not wanting to take the time to grow with them. We want a man or woman that's already in church, with good jobs, good morals and perfect bodies. Wow, what world do you live in, because it certainly isn't the world I live in or know. There are no perfect men or women and there is no one perfect for you. If you want a good or an outstanding relationship or marriage, then you will have to grow with them and make it work. If many of you christian men or women took time out with the people you loved, then its very possible the man or woman will turn out to be what you hoped for. Grow with your man or woman. If they never been to church, then take them and introduce them to God. Yes it will be hard at first and many will resist you at first. No one said life would be easy or fair ,but with time, patience and faith in God, all things can be done or accomplished with Christ by your side.
Have a wonderful week,
Charles

John 8:7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted himself up, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
Romans 2:1 You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.

Behind Closed Doors

Have you ever wondered how it felt to be rich or to have everything a person could ever want in life? Doesn't it sometimes bother you too see people happy while you are struggling trying to make ends meet? Sometimes when we see people driving those fancy cars , living in those fancy homes, going on those extravagant vacations or eating at the finest restaurants', its hard not to get jealous or even envious. Even though as a christian male, I know that the bible teaches that jealousy and envy is a sin, but its very hard not to feel that way. Sometimes I have been guilty myself of being envious of a person that I know is doing wrong, but are still blessed while doing so. Its enough to make one wonder why? Why does God continue to bless those who knowingly sin , while others who are trying to do the right thing struggles?

There is one person in my life that made me appreciate the blessings, that I already have and that's my late grandmother. I remember telling her how much , I wish or craved too be rich. This is how our conversation started. I said grandmother," I wished I had a lot of money, drove the finest cars and lived in the finest homes in the world". Then she smiled at me and then said," Chuck if you had all of the things you wished for, then what would be left too dream or work for"? Do you really believe that having money or material things are the keys too happiness? I told my grandmother that I didn't know. Then she said," Chuck, those people that are rich or well off have problems just like you or I and some have problems worse than the average person". Yes, its true that most rich people don't have the normal problems, you or I have like, paying bills or possessing material things, but they do have their share of problems that I wouldn't wish on my worse enemy. I too grandson, have been guilty of wishing I had what others possessed, but like my grandmother before you told me, always beware of what lies Behind Closed Doors.

When I question my grandmother on what she meant about Closed Doors, she went on to explain too me, that somethings are not always what they seem or appear to be. An example of this is she would say is, when you may see famous people, like a movies stars, professional athletes, politicians, Pastors, Priest and even some drug dealers who appear to have it made. These people might be very rich, drive the nicest cars, live in the finest homes and when they are in front of the cameras they appear too be the happiest people or couples in the world. But Behind Closed Doors, they are going through a divorce, having problems with their children, husband, wife or be on the verge of bankruptcy. Many of them are so stressed out that even trying to portray that perfect image, for their family, fans, friends or for the rest of the world becomes tiresome. Behind Closed Doors, only known to themselves and to God  that they are going through a living hell or living a lie. Don't be fooled my brothers or sisters in Christ, many who may smile in your face today, will be crying tomorrow behind those same expensive closed doors that they paid for.

To those that are blessed enough to read this, don't become jealous or envious of people that are rich, wicked or of those who will do almost anything to get ahead. I know sometimes it gets hard working from pay check to the next and you may be tried of struggling. But God our Father in Heaven has a blessing and plan for your life. While others may live their life for others or for the world too see always live your life to please God. For even behind doors you shall receive the blessings of the Lord.
May God continue you bless you always,
Charles

Why Should We Love?

If you are like me or others, you have had many failed relationships while others have had failed marriages. With each relationship or new marriage you may go into it hoping that this one will work out or make it , hoping that history won't repeat itself. Being that there are a lot of men or women that enjoy playing games with peoples hearts, can make anyone ask themselves these questions. Why even bother getting into another marriage or relationship? Why bother or take the risk of getting hurt again? You may also think to yourself why should I love again, when all of my past relationships or marriages ended up failure? Then you may ask our Father in Heaven , "Why should I love Lord"? I am hurting, tired of the games, tired of investing my money and my time into something that may not work or into something that may fail again. Like many others around the world you have become bitter and have a bad taste in your mouth. Like others you may feel that all men or women in the world are bad, no good , unworthy of your time or love. Going through so many disappointments may give others the desire or  need to reinvent themselves and become just like the last person or persons that have lied, wronged or hurt them.

If you happen to be reading this then really thought about your pain, hurt and disappointment's have you ever wondered why it happened? Why you suffered so much pain or why your relationships didn't work or fail? Well if you have not, I have and I know the reason why most relationships or marriages fail. The main reason or reasons why many relationships fail are because, many do not have any real foundation and many of them don't, have the full blessing of the Lord. What do I mean by this last statement? In every relationship or marriage, God has to be the foundation or the root to make it work. With God as the head of in each persons life, all relationships or marriages will endure all trails , tribulations and stand the test of time. With God as the head, all couples that believe in him will be better prepared to handle any situation and will be battle tested, able to resist the devil when he comes to test them. God knows that the devil will test his people, just as the devil tested his son own  Jesus Christ for 40 days and 40 nights. Jesus never gave up and neither should you or I. God and his son Jesus loves us, that's the main reason why we should embrace or seek out new love and never give up or stop trying. Why Should You Love? Because out of all the great or wonderful things in the world today, there is no greater feeling than being loved and loving someone special back in the very same way.Whatever you do from this point on, never give up on love, because once you have experienced true love,  you will then realize that God greatest gift Jesus came from his love for the world. Why Should We Love? Because the greatest commandment given to us by, God our Father in Heaven, is to love one another and all of his good or wonderful creations.
Have a blessed night and be blessed,
Charles

1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

In The Name Of Jesus

I remember as a child, when I would hear about other people having problem's, I would then kind of laugh. Then my mother would look at me under her glasses and say Chuck, just live and in time you will have problems of your own. Boy was she right and when that time came, I leaned on the mighty words of Jesus to get me through it. As you think about what I just wrote ask yourself these questions , Are you having trouble in your own life? Do you seem to be having your share of bad luck and everywhere you look or turn there always seems to be some type of drama or a problem you have to handle or solve? Are your children, family members and spouse giving you hell or driving you crazy? Are you tired of all the bad news and yearn for something good or positive in your life? Do you find yourself tempted by evil , when you are only trying to do the right thing? Is the devil harassing you and giving you some bad ,evil or hateful thoughts? If your answer is yes, to any of these questions, then you should rebuke satan in the name of Jesus and the devil or his demons shall flee.

The name of Jesus is powerful, because he is the son of our Father in Heaven, the Most High and the Devil fears him. Jesus Christ, is the truth, the light and the way. With his wisdom and our faith there is no problem that we can not conquer. To all that read this I want you to remember this , if you are close to being blessed or to a blessing, the devil will stop at nothing to keep you from being blessed. He will cause confusion, he will make people lie to you or on you , then some may hate you . Then the devil will have you in a state of mind that makes not trust anyone. The devil will try too make you think that God doesn't love you anymore and he will also have you thinking that no one cares. But tell the Devil he is a liar and say to him that you have been forgiven by our Father in Heaven. For the word says ( Matthew 4:10 Then said Jesus unto him, Begone, Satan: for it is written, You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.) Gods son Jesus died and bled on the cross for all of our sins. If you want to put an end to your bad luck and want all of your problems to go away. Then get on your knees and pray ask our Father in Heaven to remove the devil or evil people from your life. If you ever feel confused, hopeless or distressed shout out ,"Satan I rebuke you in the mighty name of Jesus! Then the devil or his demons will flee and all your problems will go away. In the mighty name of Jesus, the devil shall flee. In The Name Of Jesus!
Have a blessed night,
Charles

Where God Leads You

As I write this journal, I would first like to tell those who are blessed enough to read this message , that God loves you and has a purpose or plan for your life. There is no one that is born in the world today without a purpose and God doesn't do anything or allow anything to happen without a reason. For those who may question what I just wrote I want you to know that God our Father in Heaven is still in charge and has all power in his hands . Sometimes God allows us to suffer , then go through things that most of us may question. Some of us may even  ask him why? Why does he allow us too suffer or go through traumatic situations? Or why does he allow us to be in the mist of evil, when others are prospering or doing so well?

The reason God allows us to go through certain things is because he is trying too build us up and then properly prepare us for our future blessing. I know that there may be some of us, that don't know their true purpose or what they want to do with their lives and that's okay. In this complicated, dangerous and uncertain world, its not easy to navigate one self. What's really hard is when you have no one too guide you or support your dreams. Even though most of us would like to believe that we all would have that perfect family, that is full of love, without abuse, that would support us or guide us in the right direction. The main fact is that there are no perfect families or marriages. The only thing that man or woman can truly count on is God and when we pray , then ask God for something we have to be prepared to be led . The question I have for you today is are you prepared to go where God leads you? Will you continue to allow people or certain circumstances keep you from receiving your blessings? What happens with most of us, is when God blesses us with what we asked for, some people,(Family, friends, co-workers or a spouse) talk us out of going after our dreams. Some of the people that we love so much, care for or respect can be the very ones that hinder us and keep us from being blessed. Its not their fault, so don't get mad or discourage, because they are only human and most of them only want the best for us. But just like them we sometimes don't realize or understand that what God has planed for us is not for them to completely understand . Sometimes it takes time for even the ones that are being blessed, to understand where God is taking them to or where he coming from.

Many times in my life, I have prayed then ask God for something and in his way, he always delivers on his promise. But where the problem begins, is when I allow doubt or fear to creep in ,then cloud my judgment. Sometimes we question if a certain situation or place is  right for us ,when God has it already planed out. If we first trust God then allow him to order our steps, then all we have to do is follow his plan and then we will receive the full blessings of the Lord. That why I am advising those who read this today, if you pray, then ask God for something, be prepared to go where God leads you. Don't let distance, place or people talk you out of reaching your goals ,being successful, from being happy or loved and from being blessed. Because if you do then  you will have too live a life that's full of doubts or fears. Go where God leads you and then the promise of God our Father in Heaven, guarantees' that you will be blessed.
May God bless you always,
Charles
1 Corinthians 12:31 But eagerly desire the greater gifts. And now I will show you the most excellent way.

1 Corinthians 13:2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

Not Angry Anymore

One of the hardest things I every had to do as a christian or as a man, is to forgive those who have hurt or wronged me. Its very difficult to forgive someone(especially if they happen to be an ex-spouse) when you put your heart and soul into them, then very soon after they use or abuse you. Its also very difficult to erase all the memories, especially if you have spent a significant amount of time with them. Men are a little different then women when it comes to this, because we happen to have many types of burdens when in a relationship or a marriage. I know this may be hard for some women to understand, but most men have a level of pride that we all have to deal with.Sometimes its harder for us to let go, because some of us men put more than their hearts into a marriage or relationship,we also invest our time and money.

As a young man I always tried to follow my fathers example. I noticed that when it came to my mother that he was always very protective of her. He made sure that he did the normal things that most men did in those days like, taking out the trash, cutting the grass, washing the cars and doing maintenance around the house. Back then those things were a given and most women expected that from their men. But what made my father different, than other men during that time, was the way he treated my mother. He never hid his feelings from my mother  and was very affectionate, even around his children. I will always remember when my father and mother used to kiss. Back then as children we would smile then say, "Oh, mommy and daddy are being nasty! I could hear my parents now saying these words, "Children, that's not being nasty, we are just loving each other". I smile now when I think about my fathers and mothers love, because when I became an adult I hoped and prayed that one day I would have that type of love or affection with my future wife.

When I got married, I was not only a newly wed, but also new as a christian. The first years took some getting used to, because I had to get use to the ideal of living in another state, going to another church, helping raising a young man who already had a father and I was also working at a new job. Besides that I also had to get use to my new surroundings. It took me sometime, but with the grace of God, I quickly became comfortable with they ideal of trying something new. I was excited because I thought to myself that I, finally found my true love or my soul mate. It was like a dream come true, that quickly turned to a night mare. Life is funny that way, one day you could be on top of the world and the next you are not.

As I think about that transition I made, it reminds me of a Bible verse ( Habakkuk 3:2 O LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy). This verses reminds me of Gods mercy because I needed it in my life and my marriage. Why you may ask? Because of all the hell my ex-wife put me through I really depended on Gods mercy. If it wasn't for him answering my prayers, I really believe that I wouldn't be here writing this journal today. If you ever been through a bad marriage where you been used and abused, then you may understand why after we were divorced, why I stayed angry for so long. It took me sometime to forgive and forget about the pain. Someone once asked me this question, being that your ex wife hurt you so bad, how would you feel if you  ever saw her again? Would you be angry or bitter? I simply answered them by saying, I have changed and  through my relationship with Jesus, I had have time to heal, to pray, to forgive and time to get over my pain. No I am not bitter, I have forgiven her and I am not angry anymore. If you are reading this  at this moment , always remember this its okay to forgive, its okay to move on and its also okay not too be angry anymore.
Have a blessed night,
Charles
